How your charge breaks down

When you place an order through Snacks4Sale, your total charge has two parts:

  1. The food cost. This goes directly to the venue. Snacks4Sale never receives this money and has no authority to refund it. If you want a refund on the food itself, contact the venue directly under whatever refund policy the venue maintains.
  2. The Snacks4Sale convenience fee. This is what Snacks4Sale receives in exchange for the digital service: queue management, order coordination, and kitchen and runner notifications.

The policy below covers the convenience fee only. Food refunds are governed by the venue, not by Snacks4Sale.

Default position

All sales of the Snacks4Sale convenience fee are final once your order has been placed in the queue, except in the specific scenarios listed below.

Food refunds — contact the venue

Snacks4Sale cannot issue a refund on food charges. The venue received the money for the food and the venue is the only party authorized to refund it. If you have a complaint about the food itself — quality, freshness, food safety, missing items, an order you never received that was supposed to come from the venue's kitchen — please contact the venue directly. The venue's name and contact information are available at the venue itself or on the venue's website.

How long you have to request a convenience fee refund

Convenience fee refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of your order. Requests received after 24 hours will not be honored.

This window is short on purpose. Snacks4Sale operates at events, and it is much easier to investigate what happened to your order in the hours after the event than days later when staff and records are no longer readily available.

How to request a convenience fee refund

Email admin@snacks4.sale with:

We will respond within three business days. If the refund is approved, we will process it back to your original payment method through Square. Refunds typically appear in your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

If you have a problem with your order, please email us first at admin@snacks4.sale. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting Snacks4Sale will be disputed when our records show the service was rendered. Repeated chargebacks for services rendered are grounds for termination of service under our terms.
